Its been almost 2 years in Mumbai visited lots of place. Keeping some how busy in weekend by going out somewhere also lots of time breaking my head for what to do on weekends. Here lists of weekend tips for Mumbaikar:

Near by tourist place that you can pick for weekends :

Default Places with Mumbai Local : Gateway of India, Nariman point, Juhu Beach, Marine drive, Madh Island (Near by lots of good Beach), Versova Beach, Elephanta cave ,Essel world .

Trekking and hills area: Lonavala , Matheran, Lohagad, Purandar, Mahabaleshwar, Vesota, Rajgad, Panchgani (Best Time : monsoon season).

Shopping malls and water parks:: Mulund: Nirmal Lifestyle,R Mall Andheri : Infinity Mall Malad: Inorbit and lots of malls on the south Mumbai, Essel world water park (Borivali), Water Kingdom(Borivali).
